The Union Ministry of Health will update India's Covid-19 tally shortly. The Omicron tally has reached 8,961 - an increase of 0.79 per cent since yesterday, the Ministry said.

Jain added that Delhi would see around 13,000 cases on Wednesday, with a positivity rate of about 24 per cent. He further added that government will monitor the situation for a few days.
